Visitors to Troy Library will enjoy seeing a high-quality reproduction of Paul Gauguin's Self Portrait displayed next to the Library's entrance through September 30 as part of the Detroit Institute of Art's Inside/Out Program. Troy is one of only 13 communities chosen to participate this year.
There are six reproductions clustered within walking or bike-riding distance of each other throughout the Civic Center Complex and at the Troy Historic Village. The City of Troy's website has additional information and a map of all the Troy locations. For a map of all the locations in all 13 cities, see DIA participating locations.
The DIA Inside/Out Program will also offer free museum admission to Troy residents on Sunday, July 22. Visit the DIA between 10 am and 5 pm on that day for tours and to view the original masterpieces free of charge.
